Genuine HID Technology
HID created an official "Genuine HID Technology" trademark to identify third party products that contain genuine HID technology.
The "Genuine HID Technology" designation applies to only the specific products that contain genuine HID technology, not the company as a whole or other products they provide.
To begin, Select an Application (or "Solution") from the drop-down menu. This will display all Genuine HID Technology labeled products which can be applied to that category or solution.
A "Refine Results" panel will be displayed.
The "Refine Results" panel displays additional filtering options to narrow your search.
If the Category or Solution that you initially selected has sub-categories, the sub-categories will be listed.
Other filtering options are "Company", which lists companies that offer Genuine HID Technology labeled products for your chosen category, and
"Genuine HID Technology", which lists the Genuine HID technologies that may be used in products in your selected category.
Clicking on any of these filtering options will narrow your results by displaying only the items which you select.
A check-mark will be displayed next to your chosen option(s). To de-select, click the selected option again.
Filtering options are "additive". That is, they will display ALL products which meet ANY of your selections.
example: If your intial Category is "Access Control Locks" you may refine your results by clicking the sub-category "Cabinets/Locks/Server Racks". Only products in the "Cabinets/Locks/Server Racks" sub-category will be displayed. If you also select "iCLASS" as a Genuine HID Technology, all products which fit the sub-category (regardless of which Genuine HID Technology they use) will be displayed, and all products which use "iCLASS", regardless of what sub-category they fall under, will be displayed
Products are displayed in a list with a product image, the product's name, a short description and the name of the company which provides the product.
For selections that have many products, the product listings are diplayed in multiple pages. Clicking on the page numbers at the top of the product listings will display that page.
Clicking on either the product image, or on the product name will display a product-detail screen with more information about the product.
